Instructions for Advanced Users Only

Please note that the instructions below are for advanced users. You should be fairly familiar with changing system settings on Android. The instructions below may not work for all Android devices, so you may have to adapt them to work for your specific Android devices. Epic Story Interactive does not provide support for every available Android device on the market, so we recommend further research before you begin.

WARNING! Always make a backup of your device before you attempt the instructions below.

The instructions below are for informational purposes only and Epic Story Interactive takes no responsibility for any errors or damage done to your phone.

  1. Put both of your Android devices into Developer mode using these instructions. In the rest of these steps, we’ll refer the first device with your save game data as your “old Android device” and the second device for your save game data as your “new Android device”. The computer you use will be referred to as your “personal computer”.

  2. Plug your old Android device into your computer. Make sure the old Android device is set to allow file transfers, as found in these instructions.

  3. On your personal computer, use a file browser to go to This PC > Device Name > Internal Storage > Android > data folder. Find the “com.dhxmedia.slugitout2” folder and copy it to your personal computer.

  4. On your new Android device, install Slugterra: Slug it Out 2 from the Google Play Store. Launch the game, play past tutorial level 1 (the Kord battle) and unlock your first chest. Now, you can close out of the game completely. Make sure you close the application completely, following these instructions.

  5. Plug your new Android device into your personal computer. Once again, make sure the Android device is set to allow file transfers, as found in these instructions.

  6. On your personal computer, use a file browser to go to This PC > Device Name > Internal Storage > Android > data folder. Copy the “com.dhxmedia.slugitout2” folder you saved earlier and paste it in the new Android device’s data folder. It will ask you if you want to overwrite the files currently on the device. Click Yes and Apply to All.

  7. Wait until the file transfer is completed (it can take up to 40 minutes to transfer the files). Once the transfer is complete, unplug your new Android device from your personal computer and launch the game.

Please ensure you read all the steps and make a backup before following the instructions above.
