Restore Lost Game Data

This article is only for users who lost game data in Slug it Out 2 when upgrading to version 2.8.0. Please make sure you follow each step in these instructions before redeeming your codes in step 5.

Instructions

Your codes will not replace your existing Slug it Out 2 game. Your codes will simply grant you specific items that you identified were in your previous save game data. We’ve done this so you won’t lose game progress a second time, if you’ve been playing the game again from the beginning.

  1. Make sure you have closed the Slug It Out 2 app completely. If you’re not sure how to do that, then please see these instructions for:

  2. Make sure your device clock is correct and not set to a future date or time. It is highly recommended that you let your device automatically set its clock:

    1. Android devices: Different for each manufacturer, but generally you can go to Settings, search for “date and time”, and then select “Automatic date and time”.

  3. Open Slug it Out 2 and verify that your game is running version 2.8.5 or higher by tapping on the Options icon in the Hideout. It’s the icon that looks like a gear near the top left of the screen.


    It will open up the options menu, and the bottom left of the menu will display the version of the game you are running. Make sure it is displaying 2.8.5 or higher. If it is showing a version below 2.8.5, then go to the App Store or Google Play and update your game. You MUST verify your game is running version 2.8.5 before continuing to the next step.

  4. From the options menu, tap the icon in the top left that looks like a gift box or a present.

  5. On the next screen, you can enter a code that was given to you. Please be patient as it can take a few seconds for the code to process before you receive your item. Repeat this step for each code you were given. You can only use each code once.
